A Rosebud Soft Whispered

A rosebud soft whispered to me from her bed
As the dewdrops first appeared
And said through her soft petaled sweet scented voice
I will raise the rosehips tonight.

She shivered and quivered in musky moonlight
As her fragrance wafted and loomed
She lowered her full budded crimson red head
As she entered the veils of the tombed.

Where this pressing addressing and unfolding bud
Surrendered her heart in full bloom
And the sighs of her beautiful sweet scent perfume
Suspended and lifted the gloom.

Where angels sweet voices are no more the guessing
Where hearts rise in simple delight
Drinking nectar of Heaven that whisper a blessing
As they raise the rosehips tonight.
