Since the beginning of time there have been wars and rumors of wars.

When America calls, our young men and women
respond.
We cheer them and we bless them.
We feel comfortable in our hearts to trust our military trainers
to teach them how to fight with honour and professionalism.
We trust them to uphold the flame of freedom.
We admire them. We are proud of them.
Life goes on. We, here at home, go about
our daily routine of things.
Unbeknownst to most of us and to them, they begin a very dark
journey.
A journey into what it is going to cost the mind, body, heart
and soul of a person to keep America free.
And in the great midst of this, we trust
our government to keep their promises
to these men and women. Promises made because they willingly give
themselves
up for a greater cause; Their country and its freedom.
Yours and mine.

We, the people of the United States of
America, must never waver
or deter from our responsibility to uphold, honour and love these
men and women that have fought for our freedom.
We must never waver, deter or forget that
it is also our responsibility,
when we hear the cries of our veterans, to take heed of their
words.
It is our duty and responsibility to keep our government honest
and to make sure that those we have elected into power keep the
promises made to them in the hour of our country's peril.
By upholding and honouring those that have
fought in our wars,
we are not upholding and honouring war. No!
We are upholding and honouring those that lie on the battlefields
for our freedom's sake. We are upholding and honouring those
that return, for they will never be the same again. Let us never,
never
forget that freedom is not free.
